  • A professional sector capable of implementation of high quality, cost effective & sustainable infrastructure to ensure a balanced development of human settlement for the people of Wangdue Dzongkhag.

MISSION

  • To be a professional  & leading technical sector for infrastructure planning, designing and construction technology.

OBJECTIVE

  • Deliver consolidated cost effective infrastructure.

  • Enhance accessibility to rural communities through the provision of improved rural access infrastructures.

  • Provide technical backstopping to all sectors of the Dzongkhag.

STAFF STRENGTH

  • Sector headed by District Engineer.

  • Engineering sector has 35 staff including DE

  • Civil Engineer- 16

  • Electrical Engineer- 3

  • Technicians- 16
